City Theatre

It was the Betancourt Theater, a building built at the end of the nineteenth century, operated from 1877 to 1904, when it was consumed by a fire, six years later took place the centenary theater, which remained less than 30 years when also burned in 1938. Subsequently, on March 21, 1947 colonial cinema was inaugurated until 1992 closed its doors. In 2000 the town hall of the city acquired the building and was rebuilt to form the theater of the city until today.
